You can really create some amazing designs that never thought possible with the Cricut Cake machine. This device was created to make some of the more complicated cups of fondant and gum paste a lot easier.
It uses a blade and a computer to program in the special cuts that need to be made and make some really outstanding designs. It really shines when you have to put some complicated lettering schemes on your cake and size it correctly.
This was always a problem for me and held me back when he came to becoming a professional cake designer. I always love making cakes as a hobby but I never thought I would be able to start my own business because there were just some things that I was not capable of. I didn’t have the time to put in the effort to do these things by hand so I just kind of settle for the fact that I would be making cakes for friends and families and that was okay.
Once I heard about the Cricut Cake machine from the Martha Stewart show I realized that this could be the breakthrough I needed to raise my designs to the next level. I started searching online and found a website that had a priced low and offered free shipping. It was sent to my house three days later and I was really impressed by the look of this device. It was bright and shiny red and just looked really nice on my kitchen counter area and I couldn’t wait to get started and within a few hours I learned that it was a bit complicated to operate.
There was a learning curve but after a few days I figured out how to use it properly and my designs really took off. I received an enormous amount of compliments on the cakes I started creating and now I have the confidence to begin preparation to start my own business.
