Money is the root of all evil is what they say. It changes people’s attitude no matter how nice he is or no matter how forgiving she is.
Money has been used by many throughout the ages as a means to buy the things they wanted such as a car, cocktail dresses or evening dresses, a home theater system, used as a capital to start a business, or using it to get the children to school.
Money makes the world go round. Which means is that money tends to balance the world’s economy. When a major country got hit by an economical crisis, other countries would be affected as well. Most third world countries rely on 1st world countries to supply them with resources they need. There are instances that people would travel abroad to look for jobs just to have a sufficient salary to support their family.
What is it in money that people would to become so greedy and selfish? The fact is that it’s just human nature to be greedy. When we were young, we undergo on a stage called the “mine” stage. Everything we see and touch, we assume that it is ours and we don’t want to share it with anyone other than ourselves. We are not aware of it or don’t remember anything at all, but one thing’s for certain we went through that stage when we were still a child.
When a government official steals money from its people he is considered corrupt. This is very common among government employees in which they would just get the people’s tax money and use it for their own. Politicians would promise a lot of things, such as ending corruption and making a better place to live, but in the end they wound end up eating their own words. We cannot trust even our own government sometimes.
We work so that we could earn money. Through money we can buy all sort of things that we need; food, clothing, and shelter. These are the basic stuff the humans need in order to survive. It is up to him if he wants to earn more and if he would work hard enough; don’t cheat your way to the top by stealing or taking someone’s credit. Giving enough effort would go a long way if one would want to earn a lot; remember, hard work would really pay off in the end.
