Hair loss problem is one of the most common hair problems that people face. Though it is common, it is also one of the most difficult hair problems to solve.
Minor hair loss problem is usually caused by improper hair care. To prevent hair loss, the easiest and most inexpensive way is by some little daily steps.
Sebum on scalp is the natural protection to scalp and hairs. Without proper cleansing, accumulated sebum may clog hair follicles and cause hair loss problem. Therefore, hair washing is the very first step for preventing hair loss problem. But, people with dry hair type should not wash their hairs too frequently (no more than 4 times a week). Otherwise, scalp will be too dry and may cause other hair problem.
Combing hair does not keep your appearance tidy only; it also massages your scalp and helps blood circulation. Dandruff and hair loss problem may be reduced with good blood circulation. For better massage effect, you may choose combs made with wood or oxhorn.
Hair products are usually formulated differently for dry, normal and oily hairs. You should only choose the matching one for your hairs. You may pay attention to the pH value of hair products because strongly alkaline products may affect hair health.
Smoking and drinking are not only bad for body health but also hair health. Smoking may lead to the contraction of capillaries in scalp, therefore affect hair growth. In addition, prolonged heavy drinking may worsen hair loss problem.
One of the common causes of hair loss problem is stress and emotional problem. Therefore, relieve of stress is the key to reduce hair loss. Sports and exercises provide excellent relaxation to stress and emotion and therefore, promote hair health.
Hairs can be damaged by heat easily. Heat is generated when we use hair blower and have hair treatments such as perm. Hairs become dry, weak and bristle under these treatments and may be difficult to recover. Therefore, it is advised to avoid such treatments if possible.
Hairs and scalp without moisture are weak and sensitive. Air conditioning may take away moisture from hairs and scalp, leaving scalp dry. Dry scalp may lead to dandruff and hair loss problem.
