Photos are treasures in our life. We record the unforgettable moments in our life with photos, and by looking at them later, those memories are brought back to life.

However, however well we protect those photos, they will gradually fade out as time goes on. Therefore, many of us would choose to buy a photo scanner to digitize those photos and store them safely in the computer.

What Is Photo Scanner with Feeder?

In the current market of photo scanner and receipt scanner, there are generally two types of scanner. One is with feeder, and the other is without feeder but with a flatbed. They are different in many aspects. Compared with a flatbed scanner, photo scanner with feeder occupies less space horizontally a bit more vertically. Sometimes it resembles a printer in shape.

Its Advantages

Since when you use a photo scanner with feeder, you insert the photo into the feeder, you would not have to worry about whether you have put the photo in the right place or not. When you use a flatbed scanner, if the photo is out of the edge of the scanning area, some part of the image will get lost. Also, if you place the photo a bit obliquely, the image you get on the computer would equally be oblique. Then either you must re-scan it or adjust the photo with image-editing software. Such kinds of trouble will not occur with a photo scanner with feeder. What you need to do is to insert the photo and press the button. The photo would be ideally located during the scanning process and the image would be perfect on your computer.

Multiple Photos at One Time

If you have many photos to scanner, a sheet-fed photo scanner would definitely be a preferred choice aside from the professional photo printers. This is because you can insert a pile of photos at one time, rather than having to insert one by one. This can save tremendous effort as well as time. Capacity of one-time intake varies among different products, and usually the bigger capacity the scanner has, the higher the price will be. Therefore, budget well before you decide which product to buy.
